Dédalo - Exponatale 2014

my drawing (still in process) / mi dibujo (todavía en proceso)
Six months ago, I was surprised to see I had almost 80,000 monthly visits. However, in subsequent months the amount of visits continued to increase. In September, I had already doubled the numbers I had in April or May. 163,000 visits were an even greater surprise.

However, as you can see in the attached graphic, my blog continues to experience an upward trend. Each month surpasses the one that came before (and sometimes by quite a large margin).

It’s very encouraging to see that all my hard work is rewarded by your preference. I really appreciate the simple fact that you came here to read this post. And I love even more to get comments from both English and Spanish speakers.
May figures / cifras de mayo

I guess this just proves that I should stick to my original plans, which is to feature less posts about Peruvian contemporary art (which hardly get any clicks at all) and focus on comic book reviews, mixing old and new releases. I know it is a bit ironic to say all this in a post devoted, if not to contemporary art, at least to one of the best Peruvian art galleries. But like I said before, I still plan to post once a month about whatever Peruvian artist that strikes my fancy.
September figures / cifras de setiembre

I have some interesting plans for next year, which will hopefully come to fruition. In the meantime, I leave you with one of my drawings (it should be completed in a few days). Enjoy!
